Terms of use
Who we are
CourseFeed is run by David Ahn, an individual in British Columbia, Canada. "We" and "us" on this site mean David Ahn.
Who it's for
CourseFeed is a study helper for university students aged 18 and over. By using it, you confirm you are 18 or older.
Your files
Only convert files you have the right to use, such as your own notes or course materials you are allowed to use for your studies. You stay responsible for the files you convert and for how you use the result, including anything you share with a chatbot.
What we do with them
Your files are converted on your own device, in your browser. We never receive them, and we do not host, publish, share or redistribute any file or any converted text. See the Privacy page for details.
Ads
CourseFeed is free and paid for by ads from Google on the main page and the guides. We don't choose or endorse individual ads. If you follow an ad to another site, that site's own terms and privacy policy apply. The Privacy page explains how ads use cookies and how to opt out of personalised ads.
Studying honestly
CourseFeed helps you prepare your own material for studying. Follow your institution's rules on academic integrity and on using AI tools.
Limits
So that conversion stays reliable in your browser, a batch holds up to 20 files and 100 MB, with up to 25 MB per file.
No guarantees
Conversion is automatic and can miss, reorder or garble content, especially in scanned pages, images and complex layouts. How well it works also depends on your device and browser. Check anything important against the original. The service is provided as is and may change or stop at any time.
Limitation of liability
CourseFeed is free. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using it or relying on its output, including missing or wrong content, lost work or results in your studies. Where the law doesn't allow us to exclude liability, our total liability is limited to 50 Canadian dollars. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute goes to the courts of British Columbia, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it there.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and using CourseFeed after a change means you accept the updated terms.
